The upkeep of a modem swimming pool or fountain requires a balance between manpower and mechanical ingenuity. Most pools and fountains built today will last for at least fifty [50] years. The remaining may operate at a loss, and in some cases these installations will become an increasing burden as time goes on because of the lack of maintenance. Swimming pool and Fountain aftercare really counts. At SANADI, we offer our services for proper and efficient maintenance along with its operation, which is required so as to prevent problems of corrosion and incrustation to the hydraulic systems if the value of pH, alkalinity & hardness are not maintained to normal operating levels. Under our Contract we develop Maintenance Routines for weekly, monthly & seasonal care.

Maintenance, Periodic Regular daily and weekly maintenance keeps the pool water sparkling clean crystal clear and ready for another week of use. Apart from the periodic vacuuming, cleaning and backwashing, we carry out following maintenance routines:

• Chemical Tests: Depending upon the usage of swimming pool, adequate no. of tests are conducted based on Municipal requirements.
• Maintaining water chemistry as per NSPI standards,
• Pool water should appear clear blue in color, any variations, such as cloudiness, caused by bacterial or algae growth, suspended matter or other contamination are never ignored, appropriate treatment is carried out to bring back the crystal clear water.

Cleaning, Regularly Thorough cleaning will help maintain efficient operation and lengthen the life of the pool and its auxiliary equipment. At SANADI, we have developed our own system of maintenance routines for various types of pools, which work most efficiently. Some of these include:

• Pool surfaces are cleaned regularly including the waterline to ensure that build up of sun-oils, body fats, algae, airborne pollution & other dirt is not left to build up,
• The walls and pool floors are brushed uniformly; pool surround paving slabs are cleaned with a strong Chlorine solution and brushed away from the pool for hygiene,
• Using a leaf skimmer or leaf rake, debris from the surface and bottom of the pool is removed. Before vacuuming and backwashing, all debris is removed from the strainer baskets and hair lint pots. This ensures maximum suction,
• Pool is vacuumed based on the usage and ambience
• A filter will last longer and give better service when backwashed regularly and thoroughly when needed. After vacuuming, the filter is backwashed to operate within clean pressure,
• Cleaning pool accessories such as diving boards, ladders, slides, chrome-plated, stainless steel and other fittings in Fountains require adequate amount of care such that their original appearance & performance. Diving Boards and Slides are periodically to make sure the finish is not cracked.
